Registration Assistance
Registration Assistance for Trainings and Events
North Texas Unitarian Universalist Congregations
Through the Registration Assistance Committee, NTUUC is pleased to support our people in attending a variety of conferences and trainings. Since the list of events changes constantly we will not always have them posted here, and we may not know of everything. If you don't see yours on this page, please send a note of inquiry to us: RegistrationAssistance @ NTUUC.org
Funding will be available this summer and fall for the SWUUC Presidents Convocation, the SWUUC Fall Training, for our ministerial candidates who wish to attend clergy conferences, and various projects sponsored by the UU College of Social Justice (www.uucsj.org).

NTUUC Registration Assistance Policy
Purpose
It is the aim of North Texas Unitarian Universalist Congregations (NTUUC) to make quality leadership development available to all, with financial support if needed. This registration assistance program is available to members of our congregations, as well as to youth, young adults, adult friends, and staff in our NTUUC congregations, programs, or initiatives. It is intended to supplement but not replace congregational support for leadership development and staff training. Applicants should demonstrate financial need. Requests will be viewed with an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens, being mindful of opening up opportunities for new groups, individuals, and congregations.
Funding
The North Texas Unitarian Universalist Congregations (NTUUC) provides an annual allocation to assist in developing and enriching our congregations.
Use of these Funds
Assistance may be applied to the cost of registration, transportation, separate lodging or other expenses. Recipients are expected to attend and participate in the entire event.
Amount of Assistance
For events with a registration fee of $50 or less, full assistance can be granted. For events costing more than $50, the maximum amount is half the Early Bird (if applicable) registration fee.
Publicity about Scholarship Availability
Publicity and registration material for events charging a registration fee should contain information about how to apply for assistance and relevant deadlines. In addition, this policy and application form with instructions will be posted on the NTUUC website.
Congregational/Group Endorsement
The purpose of leadership training is to strengthen Unitarian Universalist congregations and groups which promote UU values. The intent is that individuals share their skills and training with their congregation or group. Recipients must be a member or participant in good standing.
Scholarship Determination and Distribution
Unless specified otherwise in the registration information, requests will be sent to the NTUUC Administrator by the specified date. Taking into account the applications received, the amount of funds available and future needs, the Registration Assistance Committee, in collaboration with the organizing committee or group whenever possible, will make a timely decision regarding requests and share that decision with the applicant.
